A step-by-step guide to making an AI rap video from a single photo: which photo to use, how to write bars that fit 8 seconds, and how to post it.

How to Make an AI Rap Video From One Photo (2026 Guide)

An AI rap video is a short clip where the person in a photo raps a verse, with a generated beat, a matching voice and lips that move in time with the words. You do not need a camera, a studio or editing skills. Here is how to make one in about a minute with our AI rap video generator.

1. Pick the right photo

The photo becomes the first frame of the video, so it decides most of the quality.

  • One face, looking at the camera. Front-facing photos give the cleanest lip sync.
  • Even light, no sunglasses. The AI needs to see the eyes and mouth.
  • Vertical framing. A portrait photo with some space above the head matches the 9:16 video.
  • Your photo, or one you have permission to use. Never upload photos of celebrities or minors.

Pets work too. A cat or dog looking straight at the lens is perfect for the pet rap video template.

2. Choose a template

Each template sets the scene, the outfit, the movement and the beat:

3. Write bars that fit 8 seconds

An 8-second clip fits one or two lines, about 12 to 20 words. Longer text gets rushed. A simple formula:

Setup about you + a punchline at the end.

For example: "Walked in the lobby with a twenty-dollar coat, still the hardest in the room, everybody take note."

Leave the box empty if you want the template verse. Choose the deep voice for slow trap beats, and the bright voice for party and birthday beats.

4. Generate, download and post

Check the pricing page, sign in and purchase credits before generating. There is no free trial or signup credit. Press generate, wait for the result and review the sound and face animation before downloading the MP4. Rendering times vary, and results can contain artifacts or miss words. You can post the finished clip to TikTok, Reels or Shorts with a caption explaining that it is AI-generated.

If a job is rejected before rendering starts, its credits are returned. Once the upstream engine accepts and starts rendering, the attempt uses credits even if it fails.
